Now available from Standard Mill Machinery Corporation is the new SMM914 Single Spindle Take-up with the capability of twisting one end.  This equipment has up to a six-inch traverse. It will wind onto tubes, spools or taper end packages and comes complete with individual drives for feed rolls and twist unit.  The twist is controlled between the speed of the take-up rolls and the twist unit.  This offers the user two operations in one: the material will twist and wind onto a finished package.
